We are really pleased to bring you details of our Second Annual Responsible Business and Management Writing Competition. Once again this is brought to you by the PRME Chapter UK & Ireland in collaboration with Oxford Brookes Business School.
Our inaugural 2016/17 competition led to some impressive entries and prizewinners from Kent Business School, Salford Business School, Glasgow School for Business and Society, Winchester University Business School and Royal Holloway.
This year's 2017/18 competition continues to focus on raising awareness of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and of PRME's work to draw these into business school thinking across the UK and Ireland.
The competition in brief:
The competition is open to three categories of participant - school students, undergraduates and postgraduates
It is open to a wide variety of disciplines - marketing, economics, accounting, leadership and management etc
It is designed to accept work already written by students i.e. it does not require specially written essays on a topic set by the organisers
There are prizes in every category jointly sponsored by the Chapter and Oxford Brookes University
The competition offers a great opportunity to take the PRME message to colleagues across our faculties and outside our universities (e.g. through local schools outreach)
You can use the competition to create local publicity for PRME and your related initiatives
Entrants can be from PRME and non PRME signatory business schools - this is part of our outreach to the wider sector
We hope you will encourage your students and colleagues to participate. If you have any questions, just get in touch with Oxford Brookes via the details on the attached leaflet/poster or directly with Dr Jonathan Louw on fob-prme@brookes.ac.uk
We look forward to being overwhelmed by all your entries by the deadline on 28th February 2018!
