In 2018, the UK and Ireland PRME chapter established seven local networks for PRME member institutions to collaborate, share best practice, engage with and develop the PRME Principles and Sustainable Development Goals at a more localised level. The local networks offer a forum and environment to promote PRME, to organise and participate with local events, themed conferences and other activities. The local networks can also assist in preparing colleagues for their PRME bi-annual SIP report.

Purpose of the PRME Local Networks:

 

1. Promote the aims and objectives or responsible management education throughout the UK. 

2. To create individual interest with PRME at a local and regional level.

3. To encourage Universities to take the lead on the PRME agenda and to engage academics within these institutions and others within their networks.

4. To provide a location for local PRME conferences, meetings and events to share best practice. 

5. To engage industry and commercial partners with Universities with the view to develop the dissemination of responsible management and frameworks such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

6. To develop the socialisation of PRME and its principles to support individuals who have a common interest and dedication to PRME.

If your institution is a member of the UK and Ireland PRME Chapter they are automatically a member of their relevant local network and we invite you to contact your local Network Coordinator.  If your institution is not listed within any of the local networks, please use the map to identify your local network and contact the relevant Coordinator. We welcome contributions and engagement from both members and non-members. If you are unsure which network you associate with please contact Rachel Welton: rachel.welton@ntu.ac.uk who oversees the 7 local networks.
