Invitation to Conference: The Road to Sustainable Digital Transformation in Higher Education - 10 September 2025

The PRME UK & Ireland Chapter is delighted to share an invitation to a timely and highly relevant conference: "The Road to Sustainable Digital Transformation in HE: International perspectives".

In an era where digital tools are fundamentally reshaping education, ensuring that this transformation is sustainable, equitable, and responsible is a critical challenge. This event offers a unique opportunity to explore this topic through an international lens, directly aligning with PRME's commitment to advancing quality education and responsible leadership.

The conference is co-delivered by Jisc and the SOARing to Digital Transformation in Vietnamese Higher Education project, a partnership involving Bournemouth University, British University Vietnam, and several Vietnamese universities, supported by the British Council’s Going Global Partnerships programme. It marks the final event of the project, where key lessons and successes will be shared.

A key highlight will be a panel discussion on "Strategies for realising sustainable digital transformation in HE globally," which will explore stakeholder challenges, the role of AI, and the impact on UN SDG 4: Quality Education. We are honoured that PRME has been invited to contribute a representative to this important conversation.
