EVENT: 'Developing and Assessing Sustainability Competences within Enterprise Education: a toolkit for education practitioners and researchers'.

I am pleased to invite you to a development workshop (suited as CPD for SFHEA applications), organised by the Sustainable Business & Green Growth cluster (at the University of Derby), funded by PRME UK & Ireland. (SIGN UP EXTENDED UNTIL 30th May!)


📅When: 16th July 10am - 3pm

📍Where: University of Derby


This workshop is aimed at educators and researchers for exploring how to develop and measure sustainability competences in enterprise/employability teaching. Sessions will focus on pedagogical tools, impact evaluation, and sharing & developing best practice informed by the Sustainable Mindset Principles.

10:15 – 11:30 | Embedding Sustainability Mindset Principles in Enterprise Education: Practical Experiences

 

  • Educators will share their experiences using the SMP Toolkit’s teaching and learning tools

  • Students reflect on their experiences with sustainable enterprise education

  • Q&A with the panel of presenters

13:15 – 14:45 | Integrating SMP Tools in Summative Assessment: Toward Authentic Students’ Evaluation (led by Orla Kelleher)


  • Small group discussions on opportunities and challenges in embedding SMP tools and principles into assessment design

  • Design and Share authentic assessment to enrich one’s own practice.
