We are delighted to reflect on the success of the 6th Annual PRME Global Chapter Forum, which took place online on Wednesday, 1st October 2025. The event was a vibrant gathering of minds, bringing together PRME Chapters from across the globe to share insights, foster collaboration, and tackle some of the most pressing challenges in responsible management education.
The PRME UK & Ireland Chapter was proudly represented, contributing significantly to the global dialogue. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with our international colleagues and showcase the innovative work happening within our network. Our former Chair Dr Jonathan Louw even moderated much of the proceedings and our current Chair Professor Natascha Radclyffe-Thomas Chaired breakout sessions.
Sharing Our Story: Communication for Impact

A highlight for our chapter was the session titled 'Storytelling for Impact - Chapter Communications Lead Roundtable'. We were thrilled that two of our committee members, Anna Egan, and Marc Duffy were invited to be part of the panel.
The purpose of this session was not to create a uniform approach but to celebrate the rich diversity in communication strategies across the PRME community. It explored how different chapters engage their unique communities in meaningful ways, sharing what truly resonates with their members.
During the panel, Marc and Anna shared valuable insights into the specific approach we have cultivated here in the UK and Ireland.
Their presentation covered:
An overview of our chapter's structure and mission.
The success of our 'Local Networks' strategy, which empowers regional hubs to foster closer communities of practice.
Our chapter's unique communication strategy and how we engage with our members.
The importance of celebrating success stories emerging from our Local Networks to inspire and motivate the wider community.
They were joined by communications leads from the ASEAN+, North America, and Africa chapters, making for a truly global exchange of ideas and best practices.

Key Themes from the Global Forum
Beyond our chapter's direct contribution, the forum was packed with thought-provoking sessions. The day kicked off with 'A Three-Way Reflection on Leadership During Times of Change', featuring perspectives from the PRME Advisory Board and Secretariat.
Engaging breakout rooms allowed participants to connect on specific themes, including AI & Emerging Technologies, Innovative Pedagogy, and Climate Change & RME. These discussions provided a fantastic platform for collaboration on new projects and working groups.
The event concluded with a powerful and timely panel on the 'Challenges to DEI and Net Zero', which addressed the worrying trend of retreats from climate and diversity commitments by some governments and corporations. We were particularly pleased to see Steve Kenzie, Executive Director of the UN Global Compact Network UK, on this panel, reinforcing the strong link between the UK’s sustainability leadership and the global PRME community.
Looking Ahead
The 6th Annual PRME Global Chapter Forum was a testament to the power of our collective community. Sharing our experiences and learning from the successes of others has left us energised and full of new ideas. We are immensely proud of the contribution made by our chapter representatives and look forward to implementing the lessons learned to further strengthen our network here in the UK and Ireland.
A huge thank you to the PRME Secretariat for organising such an inspiring and seamless event!
