Following the successful publication of the excellent Sustainability in Early Careers Report in July 2025, the Careers and Sustainability Working Group are hosting two fantastic events across the next two months. These sessions will present us with opportunities to draw on insights from recent careers reporting and discover how innovative, science based tools ca be incorporated into our classes so our staff and students become confident climate literacy facilitators.

Event: Sustainability in Early Careers Research Webinar Panel Discussion

Join expert panelists to reflect on the findings of our Sustainability in Early Careers Report launched in July 2025. Drawing on insights from over 200 organisations, the report explores the supply of, and demand for, sustainability-related placements, internships, and graduate roles across sectors. This report is one of the research outputs of our Careers and Sustainability Working Group and was only possible thanks to the collaboration between the UN Global Compact Network UK, Windō , Oxford Brookes University, University of Exeter, University of Bristol, Keele University, Nottingham Trent University, Richmond American University London, University of Surrey, University of Stirling,  University of Warwick and University of Westminster.

EVENT: How to Supercharge Professional Skills Development through Running Climate Workshops

The exceptional Jim Lescop of DecarbonEaser will run a session for us on How to supercharge professional skills development through running climate workshops


Join us to discover how innovative, science-based tools like the Climate Fresk, Biodiversity Collage, and Digital Collage empower both university staff and students to become confident climate literacy facilitators.  Facilitating a climate workshop is a powerful way to make a positive impact and gain the skills employers are actively seeking.
