We cohabit a world of finite resources, which requires us to carefully balance economic growth with socio-environmental impact. Such external and structural constraints offer an opportunity to consider an alternative form of growth - from within. This is the guiding principle of the five Inner Development Goals (IDG) framework - being, thinking, relating, collaborating, and acting. The IDGs are explicitly aligned with the SDGs and suggest that systemic change starts with personal transformation - of our learners and ourselves.
The IDG x PRME event is a practical session for educators who may wish to extend their sustainable practices through the IDGs. The event will introduce the IDG framework and its key dimensions. Then, it will offer a workshop, allowing educators to map their current practice to the IDGs, ideate new activities and share their experience with a wider community of practice. It will share insights from a curriculum mapping exercise of Business School modules against the SDGs using AI. The event will close with a roundtable discussion.
